“What Is Happening”: Shaquille O’Neal, Who Rips Apart a Chair With Bare Hands, Accused of Having Dangerous Brain Condition in Hilarious Fashion

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal may have given the internet another meme material on his podcast. A seven-foot giant, who looks forward to making people laugh in any way possible, succeeded once again. And that is one of the many reasons why people love and adore Shaq so much. Be it through roasting people or making a fool of himself, Shaq always manages to rise a laugh out of almost everyone.

During the recent podcast, host Nischelle Turner was talking about Shaquille O’Neal’s latest documentary, which is currently out on HBO. Turner went on to discuss the first episode of O’Neal’s documentary.

She mentioned how she had never seen O’Neal so emotional. That’s when Shaq mentioned how people usually get him wrong. O’Neal prides himself on being the clown in order to make everybody laugh.

In fact, he himself has mentioned plenty of times how he changed his persona back in high school and became the class clown from being the school’s bully. And now Shaquille O’Neal gave us another laughter moment.

As he was talking about how can one take a clown seriously, Shaq went on to rip the chair apart that he was sitting on while recording the podcast. Turner and Spice Adams just could not believe their eyes.

O’Neal ripped the chair apart in a matter of seconds and all the two hosts could say while laughing was, “What is happening.” Spice took a sly shot at Shaq, saying “Basketball players get CTE as well.”

Just to explain it a bit, CTE is a progressive brain condition that is caused by repeated episodes of concussion and repeated blows to the head. Something that NFL players are prone to, given the amount of physical contact.

But back to the topic at hand. O’Neal literally took the chair apart with his bare hands. And then he continued to sit in the chair claiming, “I got a nail in my left a** cheek but it didn’t go so just be all right.”

O’Neal continued filming while sitting on that broken chair, half collapsed on the floor. And if that wasn’t enough, Shaq also managed to inspire co-host Spice Adams to follow in his footsteps. Adams got off his chair to bring a stool that he ripped apart, too.
