The Los Angeles Clippers have had some big losses this season. First, they lost Kawhi Leonard to an ACL injury. Then, they lost another player, Paul George after he injured his elbow. Hence, things should be rough in their camp. However, they held well but crumbled late in their recent loss to the Denver Nuggets. Moreover, one of their players may have got the easiest rebound of his career.

The team has done a great job of holding up without their star power. Notably, Paul George led the way for them as he was playing at an MVP level. Despite not having Kawhi, they have done well so far this season with many players stepping their game up.

Coming to the game, it was an interesting contest between the Nuggets and Clippers. The game had fans at the edge of their seats right until the end. A Luke Kennard three put the game within one point for the Clippers. However, clutch free throws from Nikola Jokic sealed the game for the Nuggets.

Brandon Boston Jr. and Eric Bledsoe led the way for the Clippers as they both scored 18 points. Ivica Zubac had yet another double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds to his name. Kennard struggled as he could add just 8 points to the tally while shooting just 25% from downtown.

Reigning league MVP, Nikola Jokic came up clutch once again as he racked up 26 points, 21 rebounds, and 8 assists in Denver’s win. His free throws sealed the game for them as they got the much-needed victory. Will Barton, Monte Morris, and Austin Rivers combined for 41 points for the night. The Nuggets improve to 16-16 while the Clippers fall to 17-16.
