Through the years, some legendary teams have been assembled. The ‘Big 3’ in Laker land looked to ride the same boat. However, the story was not meant to be. The trio of LeBron James, Westbrook, and Davis accumulated just 33 wins for the Lakers in the entire season. Their breakup looked inevitable, with all the reports flowing in. But, according to some reports, they have made vows to make it work again.

The purple and gold had major troubles last season. Anthony Davis was once again not fit and Frank Vogel became the scapegoat for their downfall last season. The 2020 NBA champions brought in Russ whose form worryingly deteriorated. Averaging just 18 points per game, the scoring champ didn’t find a home in his birthplace.

Despite the failures, the three LA gems aren’t giving up on their hopes just yet.

Lakers to keep their trio in place?

Since the off-season began, the Lakers have been linked with stars of several teams. Indiana’s Buddy Hield and Kyrie Irving have been on their radar. Putting up nearly 23 points on an efficient percentage, ‘Brodie’ proved that he still has a lot left in the tank. At the end of the day, the Lakers trio has a lot of work to do.
