“Went Home After That L and Did a Podcast About It”: Fans Call Out Draymond Green as Humble Take on Embarrassing Loss Gets No Respite

The Western Conference Semi-Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers is living up to all the expectations. Game 3 of the highly contested series saw the Lakers blowout the Dubs with a 127-97 win. Following the embarrassing loss, four-time NBA champion Draymond Green released his recent podcast episode on YouTube. In the podcast, he talked about some of his own mistakes during the game, while also breaking down the game for his audience.

However, it seems many NBA fans and Warriors fans, specifically, are not happy with Green. Under the comment section of the video, fans have displayed their disappointment in the former Defensive Player of the Year.

Draymond Green gets honest about his performance against the Lakers

Golden State Warriors superstar Draymond Green did not have the best of starts to the 2023 NBA playoffs. In the first round of the playoffs against the Sacramento Kings, he was ejected. Moreover, he had an underwhelming performance.

Although, Green has picked up the pace against the Los Angeles Lakers, he is far from his best. In the latest episode of The Draymond Show, he talked about learning how to defend without fouling. The reason being? The Lakers are punishing teams from the free-throw line!

Green said, “Everything seemed to be going our way and then they went to the free throw line. Every play in that stops us from flowing, you know that stops the flow of the game. So I got to do a better job defending without fouling. We know what that does, not only to our defense, but to our offense as well.”

Additionally, the 4-time NBA All-Star also expressed his disappointment in the number of turnovers the Warriors had against the Lakers. Moreover, he also revealed that Stephen Curry was bamboozled when LeBron James did not shoot even once in the first quarter.

Fans call out Green

Over the past few months, NBA fans have expressed their annoyance over Draymond Green’s podcast on several occasions. According to the fans, recording and releasing the podcast might be a distraction Green should avoid.
