Brooklyn Nets superstar?Kyrie Irving requested a trade from the Nets yesterday, just before the NBA’s February 9 trade deadline. As a result, many franchises including the Los Angeles Lakers have shown their interest in acquiring the Nets guard. Though the Lakers might have shown their interest in the 30-year-old, according to NBA Insider Brian Windhorst, they have some reservations. According to Windhorst, the Lakers are interested in acquiring Irving. The ESPN analyst said, “The Lakers position from what I understand is that: They’ve been interested in trading for Kyrie Irving, but they’re not so sure about trading for him and being obligated to give him a $200M contract at season’s end.”?
Irving is undoubtedly one of the best players currently playing in the NBA. The 30-year-old has the potential to turn around any game almost single-handedly with his offensive prowess. The 2016 NBA champion is currently averaging 27.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists this season. Therefore, if the Nets guard somehow lands up in LA, he would certainly make an impact on the hardwood for LeBron James and co.

Jeanie is not giving Kyrie $200 million dollars. He and LeBron worked in Cleveland but after winning the championship in 2016, Kyrie wanted out after playing in LeBron’s shadow and not getting recognition. He will do the same again.

Hmmm let’s see, were sure on giving Russ 40M and we seen how that played out, I’ll take the not sure for 200M and Kyrie Irving. At least we get a guarantee of a deep playoff run.

Why would anyone give this guy $? I know he’s elite but at anytime he can just leave the team or want to be traded. He’s shown it everywhere he’s went so far.
