After winning their fourth title in eight years, the Golden State Warriors were back at The White House. Stephen Curry & Co. stood on the podium once again. President Joe Biden called the franchise’s basketball a reflection of America. It is arguably one of the biggest honors in any NBA star?s career. Weeks after Curry?s moment, the ex-wife of Shaquille O?Neal, Shaunie Henderson, marched her way to ‘The White House’ to celebrate an important mark in history.
US politics saw history being made recently. The prosperous state of Maryland appointed its new governor, Wes Moore. The Democrat became the first black man to hold that position. Moreover, he was only the third African-American elected governor in USA history. The moment was big and had to be celebrated. The POTUS arrived in Maryland to speak about the works of Moore.
To mark the incredible moment, he also got an invite to The White House. Along with him, Shaunie and her husband Keion Henderson were also invited to the grand occasion.

Shaunie Henderson is next after Stephen Curry
Moore?s election as governor was no small deal. In 246 years, Maryland never had a Black governor. Similar to Stephen Curry and the Warriors, it felt more than just a victory. It was an important event in the history of US politics. An excited Shaunie Henderson took to Instagram to share a picture celebrating the proud moment at the White House. The ‘Basketball Wives’ star shared a picture with Henderson, Moore, and his wife, Dawn Moore.
She wrote in her caption, ?A memorable evening at the White House as a guest of the President & Dr. Jill Biden, what a beautiful fellowship with the History making first Black Governor of the great state of Maryland.”

Wes Moore is a former combat veteran who served in Afghanistan. As a man of principles, he swore to upraise the state of Maryland. Being introduced by Oprah Winfrey, he vowed to improve education, and fight crime and climate change. He is the former CEO of the ‘Robin Hood Foundation’, an anti-poverty non-profit. The 44-year-old is also a best-selling author.
