And now, a couple of weeks after her confessions, Steph opened up on the topic of divorce and how he looked upon his parents following their divorce.

Scott Fowler of ‘The Charlotte Observer’ joined Stephen Curry to have an exclusive one-on-one interview last Saturday night in Houston. The Warriors’ superstar opened up on various topics in the chat with Fowler.

From discussing his journey in Davidson to giving advice for life, it was a wide-ranging interview. However, among them, one topic seemed to disclose a different outlook on the Warriors’ marquee player.

Stephen Curry on his parents’ divorce

After asking what made Curry worry most about his children, Fowler followed by another one on how Curry looked up on the matter of his parents’ divorce. Curry responded by saying it was difficult to look upon at first but gradually helped him to understand his parents individually. Stephen Curry said that he got to know what makes them happy now by identifying their true nature. The Warriors star addressed how his parents always remained a support system in his family for him and his siblings.

In the interview, Curry mentioned once how he just wanted his kids to be just themselves and unique. He further expressed how he doesn’t want his kids to not live up to anything that the world might want them to. Taking his statements into account; Curry stated how his parents expressed the same feeling as him about the Curry siblings when they were kids.

The Dubs superstar finished his answer by saying, “Life is crazy. It throws a lot at you and you find ways to navigate it.” Apparently, his words reflected a positive outlook on his parents’ divorce and going along with respecting their views.
