High schoolers are getting involved in a weird tradition

The graduating class of 2023 in certain states is taking part in a weird trend of bringing goats as their prom dates. Well, this is an ode to Michael Jordan who is often called the ‘GOAT’ of basketball. GOAT is an abbreviation of greatest of all time.
In an interview given to the New York Post a high schooler who recently rented a goat for his prom said, “I?brought a goat to prom because I?m known in my city for being the greatest when it comes to fashion and photography.”?
The high schoolers are renting a goat from their local farmers for as much as $100 per hour. Many prom-going students are seen posing with goats on their big day. The graduating class of 2023 is doing this in honor of MJ who wore the number 23 on his jersey for the full duration of his career. The high schoolers from the class of 23 wanted to end their academic journey in Jordan style. Earlier this year LeBron James was also seen with a bunch of baby goats when he hosted a massive celebration in honor of him becoming the NBA scoring leader.

LeBron was accompanied by unusual guests during a massive celebration
A few months back LeBron rewrote history as he broke Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s NBA scoring record. He decided to throw a massive celebration in Los Angeles in honor of becoming the new NBA scoring leader. Many were taken aback when they saw LeBron bringing a pair of goats alongside him to the celebration. Many fans joked that the former four-time champion brought Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant alongside him.
Irrespective of what the people say, James certainly thinks he has done enough to be regarded as the greatest of all time. The debate about who should be regarded as the ‘GOAT’ remains quite contentious as it always divides the basketball world every time it’s brought up.
