James Harden continues his pursuit for a ring. Numerous uncertainties, however, loom over the 2018 MVP’s future with the Philadelphia 76ers. The rumor regarding the Beard’s return to the Houston Rockets has only gathered momentum after the 76ers’ exit against the Celtics. Given his achievements with the Rockets and the side’s current plight, Harden’s return to Houston may suit both parties. It seems, however, not everyone longs to see the 33-year-old don the Rockets’ colors again.

Harden was arguably in his prime during his nine-year stint in Houston. But the Rockets have now changed. The roster is different from what it was when Harden left. Discussing future trades, an 8x-NBA All-Star let out a crude take on the Harden-Rockets rumors.

Though the Conference Finals have taken center stage in NBA discussions, James Harden’s rumors too have garnered a fair share of attention from the NBA community. The 10x-NBA All-Star’s potential return to the Rockets found a place in the recent episode of Podcast P with Paul George.?The Rockets star, Jalen Green, appeared in the episode and weighed in on these rumors along with Paul George. While doing so, Paul George had a bizarre opinion about the Beard’s return to Houston.

Paul George stated that Jalen Green is “like the King of Houston”?now. George thinks that Jalen Green can learn quite a lot from a veteran like James Harden. However, PG-13, also added that the potential addition of a player like Harden might take away the responsibilities from Green’s shoulders, affecting his growth within the team. “You bring on someone like James who’s such a ball-dominant player, and that’s gonna hinder your growth a little bit. You know what I mean,” said George. In response, “I agree,” said Green.

Having talked with James Harden about the rumors, Jalen Green feels that he can learn a lot from a teammate like Harden. Nonetheless, Green iterated that he feels the same way as Paul George about Harden’s addition hindering his growth.

Harden rumors are fuelling up!

James Harden reportedly intends to decline a $35.6 million option with the 76ers to become an unrestricted free agent. Besides, it has also been reported that the 2018 MVP can land a $201.7 million deal for four years. With the Rockets having $60 million in salary cap during the offseason, rumors of Harden’s return to Houston have taken center stage in the hoops world.
