The Los Angeles Lakers have been looking at a few trades to build a winning team to support their main men. Reports have suggested that the Lakers are keeping an eye out for 15 December. The date marks the eligibility to trade with players who signed this offseason. A small trade involving Patrick Beverley and Kendrick Nunn was in talks. Moreover, so was a big trade with Russell Westbrook.

According to media reports, the Lakers were interested in DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic for their lineup. It was rumored that the trade involved Russell Westbrook.

Reports claim that the Chicago Bulls are not interested to bite. Joe Cowley stated that the Bulls had “zero interest” in the trade.

The Lakers fans are in disbelief and some of them reacted online. “We shouldn’t want either of them“, one wrote.

Cowley leaned on a source to state that executive Vice President of the Basketball Operations, Arturas Karnisovas had no interest in the Westbrook trade. Russel Westbrook’s expiring contract is not appealing even if they add draft picks are the rumors floating around.

Both DeRozan and Vuecevic are veterans of the franchise. Adding the duo would help shoulder the weight of the game for both LeBron James and Anthony Davis. They could have helped the Lakers with their combined experience.

DeMar DeRozan has been averaging 25.6 points with 4.7 rebounds. He is widely considered to be one of the best scorers in the league. In his first year with the Bulls, he was an All-NBA select. Vucevic, on the other hand, has been averaging 16.3 points with 10.8 rebounds.

The Bulls fans have heavily depended on the Big Three: Zach Lavine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic. Unfortunately, the Bulls have not fared well this season and multiple sources have recommended that it is time to blow up the roster. However, with this update, it looks like they are unlikely to follow it up.
