The Golden State Warriors took a 3-1 lead in their Conference semi-finals against the Memphis Grizzlies after winning game 4 with a scoreline of 101-98. It was a low-scoring game as both teams struggled with their shooting. And the Grizzlies missed out on Ja Morant due to the knee injury he endured in their previous game.

Draymond Green in his ?The Draymond Green Show? podcast talked about the game. He said that the Warriors didn?t deserve to win the game against the Grizzlies who were without Ja. He pointed out the Grizzlies’ record of 20 wins in 25 games without Morant and said that they showed that in game 4.?

Draymond Green said, ?We got away with one there that we probably shouldn?t have won. But we are battle-tested. We do have championship pedigree…?

Green also pointed out the Warriors? poor showing from the 3-point line. Green also admitted that he was a bit shocked to see Steven Adams in the lineup owing to Ja?s absence. He elaborated that he was shocked because Adams didn?t play a lot in the series so far.?

He also gave props to Adams for the type of dominance he brings to a game and also for his rebounding and scoring ability. Draymond said that Adams? presence benefited the Memphis Grizzlies.?

Green then touched on Ja Morant?s injury. He said that he wanted to send his good wishes to Morant and wished him a speedy recovery. And he disagreed with the notion that Jordan Poole tried to hurt him. Green also said that he never wants to see anyone hurt, especially a young superstar like Ja Morant.

Grizzlies lose game 4 without Ja Morant

Regular season records don?t mean a lot in the playoffs. Even though the Grizzlies were 20-5 without Ja in the regular season, they couldn?t seal the deal today. The game was very close in the first three quarters because of both teams? poor shooting performance. But the Warriors pulled away in the final quarter showing their playoff experience. And their ability to still win a poor game.

Jaren Jackson led the Grizzlies in scoring with 21 points along with 8 assists, and 5 rebounds. In his podcast, Green said that Jackson had a great game, and the Warriors had a tough time defending him.

Steven Adams had a double-double with 15 rebounds and 10 points. Filling in for Ja, Tyus Jones had a decent game with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.?
