As there were several hundred fans watching him play after paying a hefty amount of money.

During the podcast, Shaquille O’Neal brought out some facts after a question from Turner that revealed another side of the Big Diesel. He stated one player could not have back-to-back bad games as he never experienced that, which startled the other podcasters a little. After hearing that, Adams threw a question to Shaq, asking him his benchmark for a bad game.

The Big Diesel instantaneously replied that a game where he couldn’t score higher than 24 or 25 points was a terrible game for him. He further added that he set a benchmark of 28 points per game for himself.

Shaq said that he understood how families were coming to see his game after buying high-priced tickets. He understood that he couldn’t display a bad performance on the court after all the people put their money on him. The Lakers legend added, “We make a lot of money and you help me make that money by paying that high a** ticket prices,” on?people who come to watch him play.

Thereafter, he also made a gagging face when Adams said 24 points were respectable. The Big Diesel finished off by saying that he wouldn’t even go home if he scored 24 points in a game. His words definitely indicated how much he valued his fans, which eventually made him a better player by setting a high standard for himself.
