Numerous dynasties have made their mark in the NBA. Be it through trades or developing players through the draft. The draft option, however, is typically a drawn-out, difficult procedure, whereas a squad assembled by moving players around has recently enjoyed popularity in the league.
Head coach Steve Kerr gives a heads up
But as seen, teams that trade players to form superteams don’t go too far with that roster as it tends to be a short stint. Like the time LeBron James joined the Miami Heat. Sure, they won a couple of championships, but as soon as they were defeated, James again left the team.?
On the other hand, a team built meticulously through draft picks and developing players arguably has the chance to retain its core set of players, or their leading players, if you will.?
And that is how the Golden State Warriors formed the team they have on their hands right now. All three leading stars for the Warriors were acquired through draft picks and the Warriors’ front office and coaching staff put in the time and energy to develop them over the years. These players played alongside each other season after season, creating an on-court chemistry and life-long friendships along the way.?

To win multiple championships in such a short span only goes to show how much success the Warriors have had in the past decade or so. Now as far as speculations go, this definitely won’t be the last year for the team and its core. The trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green could be seen playing alongside one another for another couple of years.?
However, this statement by Kerr will surely be a cause of concern for Warriors fans, as they begin to realize that the trio won’t always be on the court together.
