Following Kyrie Irving’s suspension, teammate Kevin Durant has spoken on the matter. During the post-game interview, KD informed the media that he has recently talked to Irving. The Brooklyn Nets superstar shared that Irving’s spirits are high despite the uncertainty of his suspension period. The interview took place after the Nets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers.
Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets faced the Los Angeles Clippers at the Crypto.com Arena. The Nets defeated the Clippers with a scoreline of 110-95. Following the win, KD sat for a media interview where he was asked about Kyrie Irving and whether he had talked to him.

The two-time NBA champion responded that he has talked to Irving and that he was hopeful about his return to the team. However, Durant and his teammates are not quite sure when that is going to happen.

“That’s been out of our control. And as players, we try to lock in on the game, and practices. So we just try to lock in and whenever that figures itself out, it will. That’s over a lot of our heads right now so we just got to control what we can,” said KD.
Kevin Durant and the team are not sure about Irving’s return
The Brooklyn Nets grabbed their sixth victory of the new season on Saturday night. Amidst all the drama surrounding the Nets, the team is looking to be better every game. While they currently have a record of 6-7, it might be considered a fairly good record given all the sudden changes the team recently went through.
In early November, the Nets’ head coach Steve Nash took his leave from the franchise. It was reported that both parties had mutually agreed on the new development. The team had yet another issue to deal with. The Kyrie Irving controversy. Fans are well aware of Irving’s situation and his suspension. Irving completed the five games suspension period on Saturday. However, neither his teammates nor the new head coach Jacque Vaughn is sure when the point guard will be returning.

As of now, Irving is following the tasks given by the franchise that will enable him to return to the team. The NBA champion has reportedly met with the NBA commissioner Adam Silver and Tsai who informed that they are convinced that Irving did not carry any such hate towards the Jewish community.
Additionally, Vaughn said, “Joe put out that statement [Friday]. It kind of shows where the collaboration and alignment are right now. I have no update on a timetable at all.”
