Though the world considers Michel Jordan and Scottie Pippen to be two of the best duos in NBA history. However, as time passes, the truth is revealed to be something else. There has been a lot of talk regarding Jordan and Pippen from time to time. In 2020, Dennis Rodman exposed why Michal Jordan didn’t trust Scottie Pippen in their early years.

Pippen got drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1987. And according to Rodman, Jordan didn’t trust Pippen in his earlier years. He recalled that in game 7 of the 1990 playoffs against the Detroit Pistons, Pippen had migraines. In addition, his vision got blurred and his head was pounding. Furthermore, after coming out of the locker room, when Jordan asked him,? “Are you ready?” Pippen said he can’t go.

And that event really pissed Jordan off and it created a bad impression of Pippen on him. “We could all tell in those early years Michael didn’t totally trust Scottie,” Rodman stated.

But it didn’t take long for the veteran forward to regain his trust and show the world what a great player he is.

In the same interview, Dennis Rodman talked about Scottie Pippen as a player. According to Rodman, they shared the same energy and love toward the game. And Pippen was one of the greatest forwards of the time because he could play several positions. What’s more, is that Pippen could shoot, defend, get a rebound, and present the audience with an outstanding all-round performance.

And it didn’t take long for Michael Jodan to realize the worth of Pippen. They have won 6 NBA titles together. Jordan appreciated Pippen for this and embraced him as a near equal. But what happened recently that seemed to have brought some bitterness between Jordan and Pippen?

As it turns out, Scottie Pippen thought that Netflix’s docuseries ‘The Last Dance’, on the Bulls’ six championship wins, focused solely on Michael Jordan’s achievements. In fact, they largely ignored the contributions of the rest of the Bulls squad.
