Curry’s documentary ‘Underrated’, made its way to the Sundance Film Festival. The documentary, which is yet to be released, focuses on his journey through the years in the league; while highlighting the various trials and tribunals he had to face. The media present at the festival rushed to ask Curry questions about the documentary. While doing so, a question about his future in Hollywood popped up.
Stephen Curry on acting in a Marvel movie
During the session with the press, the four-time NBA Champion was asked if he would grab the opportunity of featuring in a Marvel movie. The movie in question here was Black Panter 3; because Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther, was the producer of Curry’s documentary.
The two-time MVP was locked in on the idea. As reported by Sports Illustrated, he said, “Tell him to see if we can shoot it in the summer and see if he can find a nice role for me in that universe.” Following this, he added that he would “absolutely” be up for a role in a Marvel movie and encouraged the media to put pressure on Coogler.
He said, “You put the pressure on and we’ll see what he says.”?Curry’s tone was filled with a little humor but one could never write off the eight-time All-Star from any situation.
