The Los Angeles Clippers shocked Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in a nail-biting finish. Despite missing out on Paul George, they took the 1-0 series advantage on the road. Several stars contributed to the triumph. Kawhi Leonard led the way with his outstanding 38-point performance. Not just that, but Russell Westbrook put on his defensive boots and played tenacious defense on Devin Booker. But that still didn’t stop a fan from disrespecting Brodie.
But this time, it happened right in front of Westbrook’s face, and he wasn’t turning a blind eye to the incident. The 2017 MVP aggressively confronted the fan and told him to “watch his mouth”.

A Twitter video is quickly going viral as Westbrook and a Phoenix Suns fan got into a bit of an argument. The clip didn’t capture what led to the moment, but it did show what was an extremely angry Russell Westbrook. The nine-time All-Star went right up to the fan’s face and called him out for disrespecting him.
“Watch your mouth. Watch your mouth motherf****r, watch your mouth. Don’t play like that, watch your mouth,” said Westbrook to the Suns fan in a shrewd tone.

In response to Westbrook’s rampage, all the fan said was, “Take it like a man. Talk about it, be about it”.?
It was shocking to watch as the former Los Angeles Lakers point guard ignores any criticism related to his game. But ever since his stint with the Purple and Gold, the chants of ‘Westbrick’ have tainted his legacy. During a press conference earlier in the season, Brodie mentioned his displeasure with his name being shamed by the fans. “It’s time to put a stop to that and put it on notice,” he said during a press conference.
With the event as proof, it seems Westbrook won’t stand his name being mocked by fans anymore. Nonetheless, Westbrook was a beast against the Suns as he made multiple clutch plays.
Westbrook hustled against the Suns
On the stat sheet, it may seem like Russell Westbrook had a poor game. He scored just 9 points and shot 3-19 from the floor. However, what the stats won’t show is his hustle plays throughout the night.
Brodie had his jumping boots on as he skied for some unbelievable rebounds throughout the night. Not only that, but he dished out 8 assists while turning the ball over just twice.

Westbrook was also a defensive enforcer throughout the night. He blocked three shots, including one from Kevin Durant who has a near-foot advantage on him. Not only that, but he arguably had the biggest defensive play of the night. In the last seconds of the game, Westbrook blocked a shot from Devin Booker and cleverly threw it off the Suns star to retrieve possession.
