Marquette University’s Butler spearheaded the Miami Heat charge this past season. Being a proven wily customer for ten years now, he led the Heat to another play-off finish. Butler featured in the top-10 assist makers of the season, averaging 7.1 assists in the pre-knockout phase. He also had the fifth best PER (accomplishments per minute) in the league. It can be argued that Butler is only getting better with age, and the new season will be the ideal platform for Jimmy Butler to prove the same.
