After the premiere of The Last Dance, Michael Jordan became a meme face, among other things. His “I took that personally” moments shot to fame as people went gaga over how he tricked his mind into performing aggressively.
But taking the opponents personally is one thing and getting angered over the fans is something whole lot different. Back in 1995, Air Jordan targeted a courtside fan who decided to prick MJ where it hurt the most.

When Michael Jordan got mad over a fan for disrespecting his shoes
In late 1995, the Bulls were up against the Cavaliers. Amidst all that was happening in that game, a heckler in the front row yelled, “Michael, I don’t like your shoes! Go back to the old ones! You were better!” The man had no clue he was talking about the iconic Nike Air Jordan XI that would go on to become extremely successful in the sneaker market.
Just when everyone thought Michael did not hear or simply ignored the heckler, the phenom hit a crazy jump shot and signaled towards the man. Not just that. The NBA champion then continually stared at the heckler and even trash-talked in between of the game. Take a look at the clip where MJ hushed the man sitting clueless in the stands –
In that November 9 game, MJ scored 29 points in 37 minutes as the Bulls won 106-88.

When LeBron James had his trouble with a fan
During a Lakers vs Hawks game, a woman reportedly made some ‘Obscene gesture’ as she faced ejection for mocking King James. Later, the media identified the lady as Juliana Carlos and repeatedly played clips of her yelling at Bron. The woman had alleged that the Akron Hammer “looked at my husband during the game and cussed him out”.

The event became popular as a ‘Mad Courtside Karen’ incident and that too became a meme topic. Well, just as MJ, Bron won that game too. Turns out the GOATs of the game really get their kick when fans in the stadium go at them.
