Going up against a shorthanded Minnesota Timberwolves, the Los Angeles Lakers came out on top. LeBron James and co. rallied a comeback after trailing with The King leading the way once again for the purple and gold outfit. However, Timberwolves’ Patrick Beverley did everything in his power to get in his head.
Beverley is always trying to get into the opposition’s head. He is a scrappy defender with a knack for pulling off antics on the floor. This ability makes him a menace for any team he goes up against. He manipulates the game in his own way and the game against the Lakers was no different. He tried to get to LeBron, but the Akron Hammer pulled through regardless.
Beverley tried on more than one occasion but got nothing but a clinic from James.

LeBron James faces Beverley’s antics
Beverley chose the third quarter as his time to go after LeBron. After the Wolves got the lead, Pat took control of the ball. He then nailed a step-back three over LeBron and gave him a few words for it. But that wasn’t all. Later, when James tried to get to the rack, he got fouled and Beverley held the contest a little too long by holding LeBron’s hand till he got to the free-throw spot.
Despite not having Karl Anthony Towns, the Timberwolves gave it their all to get the best of the Lake show. However, the purple and gold pulled through and got their second win in a row. While James couldn’t break his 30 point streak, he was still the top scorer for the game.
