In spite of a top-quality start to their season, the Golden State Warriors have hit a sudden roadblock. With Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson working in tandem, the side was sure to restore faith in their fans. However, key man Draymond Green’s absence has resulted in a massive setback for the side. In another loss on Monday, Curry was dealt with a destructive blow to his face.

The 2021-22 season has been a campaign of two halves for Stephen Curry. He started off extremely strong, with some spine-tingling performances in the first quarter of the season. In addition, he also broke the record for most 3-pointers in NBA history. However, the 8-time All-Star has been a tad out of touch of late. Yet, he will be hoping that his form will reach its pinnacle once the Warriors are at full strength.

VIDEO: Stephen Curry gets elbowed in the face by Terance Mann

On Monday night, the Warriors traveled to Los Angeles, to take on the Clippers. On the back of two successive defeats, Steve Kerr’s men defeated the Lakers, and were now looking to turn the tide. Unfortunately, an encouraging first quarter wasn’t enough for them, as they crashed to a 104-119 humbling. Steph and Terance Mann top-scored for their respective sides. Characteristically, the pair was also involved in a heated incident.

In the third quarter, the Clippers were trying to protect a slender lead. Charging ahead in attack, 25-year-old Mann was being guarded by his opposite guard in Curry. In the painful move that followed, Terance brutally elbowed the 33-year-old while attempting a layup. The offensive foul was awarded; however, Curry was left in a state of writhing pain. Have a look.
