Stephen Curry is in full force this post-season. Currently, he is playing in a sportsperson’s golf tournament hosted by NBC. He is coming off a historic season with the Golden State Warriors. Steph has won almost every trophy they placed in front of him, even winning the first-ever Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP Trophy. Stephen Curry went on to win the first-ever Western Conference Finals trophy for beating the Dallas Mavericks as well.
Curry beat the Memphis Grizzlies in their post-season campaign. The Grizzlies, who were a little short-handed, lost to the Warriors in Game 6. The Warriors kept every receipt for their season and clapped back the hate and trolls after achieving what they set out to. In fact, the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Warriors in the play-in tournament in the 2020-21 seasons. Jaren Jackson Jr. trolled the Warriors by tweeting, ‘Strength in Numbers’ mocking the Warriors’ slogan last season.
In the 2021-22 season, the banter continued. Since then, Draymond Green and Ja Morant have had a long-winded Twitter feud. Klay Thompson also called out Jaren Jackson Jr. for his actions. The Warriors-Memphis saga is likely here to continue. During the golf tournament, a Grizzlies fan threw a grizzly ball at Steph. Steph took this light-heartedly and kicked the ball away, adding feud to the banter.
