The Golden State Warriors previously honored their All-Star players who were headed to the annual event by presenting them with their jerseys during the game. This used to happen almost every year. However, there were some changes to this ceremony this time. Bob Myers, the team’s president, and general manager presented the jerseys to their top three players, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins. Following that, their children came out carrying their All-star game rings.

It was a significant change, but it made the players quite emotional seeing their All-Star rings come to them with their own children. During Wednesday’s game at Chase Center, the warriors did this. As the warriors were there for the matchup against the Denver Nuggets.

It was an emotional moment for three of the players as the warriors did a fantastic job with the twist they presented during this honor. In addition, this kind of gesture made the All-Star honor even more special. As for Curry, he is well-deserving, as considering his last seven All-Star Games, he has put some great scores on the board. On average, he scored 18.6 points per game, tallied 6.3 assists, and grabbed 5.7 rebounds in the period of 27 minutes.

Curry’s eighth All-Star Game will begin with the LeBron James team. Furthermore, this was supposed to be Draymond Green’s fourth All-Star Game; however, he will not be able to play due to his lower back injury. Among these veterans, there is also Andrew Wiggins, who would be making his first All-Star appearance.

Curry’s performance this year resulted in this honor as opposed to the 2019-20 season, which wasn’t in his favor. Due to his hand injury, he only played five games that season.
