It is a finals rematch as the Boston Celtics go up against the Golden State Warriors for the first time this season. The Celtics seem to be on an absolute roll as they have the best record in the league with 21-5. The Celtics have already won their last three games in a row, looking to make it four. Thompson has faced a lot of doubt and criticism from fans and NBA analysts from around the league. But rarely has anyone been talking about the gradual improvement he is making to increase his point production.

What a lot of people do not notice is, Thompson is also an excellent defender. He may not put the clamps on its matchup but his length and agility sure make it hard for the opposing player to get a shot off.

As for the Boston Celtics, after being handed a disappointing loss in last year?s finals, the team would like to send a message. Especially to the Golden State Warriors. Though the Celtics have been doing so and their record does reflect that.

But handing a loss to the team they lost to in the finals would be some sweet revenge they have been looking for.
