Things have not been great for the Los Angeles Lakers in recent times. LeBron James has been the only player who has shown any form of consistency. This has led the Lakers to take a big drop this season. However, they got a major boost tonight as Anthony Davis made his return for the Lake show. But for James, he has no plans to tone down his aggression.
While taking the win against the Nets, LeBron James went for back-to-back dunks in the fourth quarter and helped the Lakers put the game away.

With Davis out for a good amount of time. James has had to level up on his offensive load. This has led to him putting up some of the best numbers of his career so far. While LeBron continues to not slow down with age, it seems he hasn’t forgotten how to fly either.

LeBron James’ back-to-back dunks
The return of Anthony Davis seems to have put the Lakers in a good place once again. They wrapped up a win against the Nets on the road. Unsurprisingly, the King did not miss a beat as he put the game away after stealing and dunking the ball on back-to-back possessions. LeBron James, being LeBron James, had to make a show as he finished the play with thunderous dunks and had the Lakers’ bench going crazy.
James has been the big find for the Lakers this season. Despite knowing he is still one of the best, no one expected LeBron to have this kind of offensive season. Being 37 has not changed anything about the Akron Hammer as he continues to keep soaring no matter what.
In the Lakers win, James was on fire as he added 33 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. Russell Westbrook contributed as well, with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists to his name. Carmelo Anthony and Malik Monk came up big off the bench once again, coming for 35 points. It was a much-need win for LeBron James and the Lakers who will look to build up now with Davis back in the lineup.

For the Nets, everyone apart from Harden struggled to give anything on the offensive end. The Beard led the way with 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists for the night. Patty Mills added 15 points as the second option but shot just 42%. The rest of the Nets players couldn’t get it going as they shot 41%.
