NBA fans certainly know how to enjoy their playoffs. Be it fans cheering inside the arena or hilariously booing Charles Barkley, everything comes with its own charm. Taking everything into consideration, Shaquille O’Neal made sure to have some fun before the Golden State Warriors-Dallas Mavericks Western Conference Finals Game 5.
Now, anyone following the playoffs and NBA on TNT knows about Barkley’s friendly-enough feud with a GSW fan. Dub Nation seemed to yell at Barkley a few times, only to have the retired NBA icon reply a few times. Yelling back a, “let’s go Mavs”, to rile fans up, Barkley did everything to elicit a laugh from NBA fans in general.

Furthermore, even Warriors fans seem to be taking the situation as a joke.
Shaquille O’Neal riles up Warriors fans with Charles Barkley boos
Like a true entertainer during the playoffs, O’Neal ended up making the most of what he had.
With a brilliant smile on his face, the four-time NBA Champion pumped his fist and hyped up some “Chuck you su**” chants. Despite the words, it’s a fun environment created. Barkley himself was amused, showing off by tapping his bicep and having some fun. Not only did this showcase how excited supporters are for Game 5 but it also proved everyone’s ability to have some actual fun without offending anyone.
Even online, fans seemed to enjoy the interactions they were witnessing, including O’Neal’s provocation.
That being said, the series seems to be weighing a little more towards the Warriors at this point.

As a whole, this win would mean a lot to the Warriors and their fans. After five back-to-back Finals trips from 2015 to 2019, the team has been out of the playoffs for two whole seasons. With many claiming the Warriors dynasty was done and dusted, this seems to be crucial for the team.
Stephen Curry has been leading the way for the team, scoring 26.7 points per game (playoffs). Klay Thompson’s return is a major plus point, the Splash Brother scoring 19 points during the playoffs. Furthermore, this means that the Warriors have made every final with Thompson in it since 2015.
