Russell Westbrook has made his living from being the triple double king of the NBA. He is one of most elite passers in the league and can make a significant impact with that part of his game. While he has struggled to make an impact with the basketball, he hasn’t stopped providing assists. While taking on the Utah Jazz, Russ helped in cleaning up the court.

Russ made headlines when the Lakers got him in a blockbuster trade. However, things haven’t been easy for him; the former MVP has struggled and is yet to figure out his role on the purple and gold. However, no matter his struggles on the court, he continues to be kind at heart.

Russell Westbrook gets an assist with the mop

While the Lakers and Jazz went to battle, the purple and gold got an inbound play. Westbrook, being the man he is, helped out the mop boy with cleaning the court. He took the mop himself and wiped off the floor. This got Russ applauds from the crowd as well as his own teammates for his gesture.

While he may be winning hearts with his behavior with others, with the game, things aren’t going his way. The Lakers are on a three game losing streak and Russ has not been at his best. Not only has his scoring been poor, but he has failed to make an impact with his playmaking. In the last three games, he is averaging 5 assists per game as compared to his season average of 8.

Westbrook is one of the superstars on this team and a lot is expected from him. His performances could the make or break factor for the purple and gold with Anthony Davis recovering from his knee injury. Brodie needs to stand with LeBron James and be the top player on the floor.

His offensive struggles have turned out to be really costly for the Lakers. As the second option on the team, Russ has crossed double figures in just 2 of his last 5 games. This, combined with the Lakers’ poor defense, is turning out to be a major problem.
