In the world of NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers are the joint most successful organisation. With big names coming in this season, they are going for the top. However, their start has been rather disappointing so far. The Lakers have failed to get a single win in the preseason. Chemistry could be an issue and an incident between Rondo and Russell Westbrook may be proof of that.

In a busy off season, their biggest signing came in the form of Westbrook. The 9 time All-Star became the all time leader in triple doubles last season, surpassing Oscar Robertson for the throne. Coming to his hometown, everyone expected him to perform. But that hasn’t gone to plan so far. Brodie has been struggling through preseason.

However, in their ongoing battle against Sacramento, Westbrook looks to be going good. But the Lakers are trailing at half time. This incident with Rajon Rondo and Russ may take the headlines.

Rondo hits Russell Westbrook in the face

Rondo and Russ have had a rivalry in the league. They have always been opponents, and their temper has come to surface multiple times. However, now they are fighting for the same cause on the Lakers. But it seems they can’t help but hurt each other in some way.

Coming to the end of the first quarter, Rondo had control of the ball. As he went in the paint to make a play, Westbrook was there as well. This is when Rondo tried to pin a fastball to the perimeter. However, Russ got in the way and took the ball right to his face. They both laughed after it happened as they were heading for the bench.

Coming to the game, Russ has put on his scoring boots. Brodie has added 13 points in just 18 minutes of play time so far. Having three bad games in a row, it was about time that Russ shows out. He is also 6/11 from the field and has 2 steals to his name. Melo and LeBron are also doing their job combining for 29 points.

However, a rare sight is seeing Anthony Davis struggle tonight. The big man is seeing a switch in position as he is playing forward. But AD has been on point throughout the preseason. He has added 14 points but is shooting very poorly. With the Lakers desperate to have a win in their corner, do you think they go winless in the preseason?
