The Philadelphia 76ers are off to a brilliant start this season thanks to some terrific performances from their superstar Joel Embiid. In their last game, Embiid put up historic numbers to lead his team to a 3 point victory over the Heat.

Miami had a chance to avenge their loss to the 76ers tonight, but they are falling terribly short of the target. Embiid didn’t have a dominant game, but Philly will register their 9th win of the season with ease. Although the Heat are severely shorthanded right now, fans expected a better matchup tonight.

Even though the game didn’t exactly excite fans, Joel Embiid made things memorable. During the 3rd quarter, Miami were down big and Joel took this opportunity to mock his opponents.

Following a brutal dunk by Tobias Harris, Embiid signalled to call for a timeout. Seems normal, right? But on a closer look, it is clear that he was asking the Heat to call a timeout. Well, the Heat heard his “request” as they called for a timeout.

With this game in the books, the 76ers will continue to tear apart their competition in the first half of the season. Looking at them, they are playing at an elite level and are emerging as the top contenders to be crowned Eastern Conference champions this season.
