Michael Jackson teaches Jordan some of the moves

The two superstars were extremely influential names in their respective fields in the 1990s. One was making the world dance to his tune and the other was creating magic on the basketball court. The two global icons came together for the shooting of a video named “Jam” which was a single from Michael Jackson’s hit album Dangerous.

Initially, Jordan was reluctant to star in the video as he was afraid of embarrassing himself. However, he came to terms with himself and decided to be a part of the same.

Jordan mentioned this during an interview with ESPN. “First I said, ‘I don’t know if I want to do this, because this guy’s going to try to get me out there to dance, and that’s going to be really embarrassing. But then I said: ‘Well, shoot, it’s Michael Jackson. When would you ever get an opportunity to get to know him socially for a little bit, and yet at the same time, get to do his video?’ So I changed my mind and went on and did it.“

Michael Jordan reciprocated by teaching the popstar some moves from the game. Jackson got the chance to learn from the very best and he was all praises for Jordan.

“I got to work with the greatest sports legend of all time, Michael Jordan. We had to play one-on-one; it was so embarrassing. He never missed, that was the object, for him to teach me to play basketball and for me to teach him to dance. “ said Michael Jackson.

The music video was an instant hit that brought two of the biggest superstars of their generation together. These collaborations by celebrities from two different industries are a treat for the fans.
