The Chicago Bulls matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers has come after a week of waiting for things to get a little better. Both teams have been hit quite hard because of the outbreaks and many of their players have entered the league’s health and safety protocols. While people assumed that the encounter between these teams will not be interesting, LeBron James always finds a way to keep things entertaining.
The last game that the Chicago Bulls played was against the Miami Heat on December 11. After that, there were so many players ruled out from playing that two of their games were postponed.

The Lakers aren’t facing anything different. Apart from their players being affected by the outbreak, they also had Anthony Davis spraining the MCL in his knee, which has him out for four weeks at least.
LeBron James turned an obvious call to his advantage
With the third quarter in full force, the Lakers and Bulls have managed to keep each other close. However, nothing beats LeBron James still somehow finding his way to get the ball.
With three minutes left in the second quarter, Chicago was up by 52-46. Just outside the paint, James found himself with the ball but was being guarded by former teammate Alex Caruso. In an attempt to get the ball to Carmelo Anthony waiting at the three-point line, he passed the ball which hit Russell Westbrook‘s foot and went out of the court. He somehow convinced the referees that it hit Lonzo Ball instead.

Say what you will, but James has been carrying the team throughout this game. Right behind him on the scoreboard are Anthony, Westbrook, and Isaiah Thomas. However, their opponents are performing admirably as well. They have four out of their five starters already in double figures.
