The Los Angeles Lakers saw themselves get back to winning ways after a win over the Detroit Pistons. LeBron James and the Lakers took a close win as they improve to 9-9 for the season. It is the purple and gold’s first win on this road trip and they will hope to continue their momentum further on. However, the game almost turned into a brawl as a Pistons’ player went for the ‘King’.
With criticism for their form pouring in, the Lakers answered in the perfect manner. Notably, Russell Westbrook, who enjoyed a great game along with Anthony Davis. However, the Pistons sure fought hard until the end and gave the Lakers a run for their money.
But, with so much fire in both squads, it almost turned really ugly. Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart ran through everyone to get LeBron James.

Stewart runs through everyone for LeBron James
While Jerami Grant was at the free throw line, the players came to battle in for the rebound. Among them were LeBron James and Isaiah Stewart. As the free throw went in, Stewart wrapped his hands around James. This is when James swung and hit him in the face, causing Stewart to bleed. This angered Stewart as the two started jawing and going at each other. But it was far from over.

As both the teams went their way, Stewart made a run to go right for LeBron. He ran through most of the security on the floor and almost got to James before being stopped at the right time. Likewise, both players were ejected for their conduct and the game went on.
It is not great to see the intensity of battle almost turn into a brawl and the NBA will surely look into it. However, the Lakers duo shined after this. Anthony Davis had a monster night with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. On the other hand, Westbrook scored 26 points to go with 9 rebounds and 10 assists. Pistons‘ Jerami Grant led the game in scoring with his 36 points and also dished out 7 assists.
