The Los Angeles Lakers v. Portland Trail Blazers was an interesting match today. Lakers managed to win without LeBron. However, it was not an easy win. The final score was 99-94. Carmelo Anthony turned up in this game by scoring 24 points. He supplemented his points with 8 rebounds, 2 assists and a monster dunk.

Russel Westbrook threw an alley-oop to Carmelo. Carmelo can be seen spinning in the video and flying up to catch the ball and dunk it. This sight was spectacular since the NBA fanbase has not seen Carmelo explosively attack the rim in quite a few years. A beautiful sight nonetheless.

Moreover, Anthony Davis turned up his leadership skills this game. Someone had to step up in the absence of LeBron. Davis did exactly that. Davis managed a double double with 30 points and 15 rebounds. Additionally, he also managed 2 assists.

On the other hand, Westbrook is still having trouble making his impact on the court and the franchise. He scored only 9 points in today’s game. However, he managed to get 13 assists and 10 rebounds which definitely helped the team grab a lead against the Blazers.
