WATCH: Kobe Bryant’s Rare Shirtless Photoshoot With $90 Million Rich Swimsuit Model Resurfaces

Kobe Bryant, throughout his career, tried his hand at several different skills. One of them was rapping. The late Lakers legend supposedly recorded an entire album. The album was never released. However, Bryant rapped for singer Brian McKnight while also releasing a song named “K.O.B.E”. The music video featured model Tyra Banks. Despite the song not being popular, Tyra Banks once stated that she liked this song. With that said, an old picture of Banks and Bryant has been doing rounds online.

Kobe Bryant and Tyra Banks were friends for a very long time. The duo met when Bryant was only 17 years old. In 2020, Banks appeared in an interview and spoke about this picture and her relationship with Kobe Bryant.

During the interview, Tyra Banks was shown a picture of Kobe Bryant and her. The rare picture was of a shirtless Bryant with Banks sitting next to him. Banks recollected that the picture was shot by a photographer named Walter Iooss.

She stated that Walter had taken several pictures of Bryant during his career. Following this, Banks said, “I honestly don’t remember what that (the picture) was for. But I know he (Walter) shot that picture.” 

The model with a $90 million net worth reminisced about her first interaction with Bryant. She claimed that they met through a mutual friend. Banks stated that she was 22 when she received a call from a friend who asked her for a favor.

She said, “This person called me and says, ‘Tyra, there’s this new 17-year-old kid (Bryant) that’s in town who’s about to be the biggest thing in basketball and I want you to give him a little advice.'” Following this conversation, Bryant visited Banks at her house. She walked him through the LA life while assuring him that if he needed help, she’d always be there for him.

Through the years, Banks was touched by Bryant’s kindness and compassion. In another interview, while remembering Bryant she once said, “To me whenever I saw him, I just saw that 17-year-old kid in my eyes.” She also choked up while saying that it was hard talking about him.
