Among the numerous interviews, Kobe discussed his thoughts on the game with Craig Sager and Steph Curry. Kobe said:

It’s exciting. I mean to be able to play for these many years and be around so many great players for all these years, it’s a beautiful feeling to be around them.”

During the interview, Kobe was accompanied by Steph as he was one of the leading vote getters in that year. Furthermore, Kobe was asked if he wanted to get the fifth All-Star MVP before he hangs out his sneakers for good. To this question Bryant replied:

No that would not be true to what I’m leaving behind with the game. I want to come out and compete. Don’t do something for me, let’s go out there and compete and have a good competitive game. [And] let’s win the game, that’s it. That’s all I want.”
