The New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns battled it out in a thrilling showdown. The Suns edged out by a single point as Cameron Johnson had a fourth quarter of his life. However, before going off, he had a heated scuffle. Like a few times this season, Julius Randle was the main man yet again as he almost took out the referee in the process.
After an All-Star season, Randle has failed to feed off the momentum this season. The Knicks are currently 6 games out of the play-in run. Despite going all out with their roster, things did not work out in their favor. Moreover, Randle has severely underachieved this season, nearly dropping 5 points from last season. But what he hasn’t fallen short of is heated moments.

Knicks star gets out of control
During the third quarter of the game, Johnson and Randle were shoving each other, hunting for a rebound. While Fournier hit the three, Johnson gave one final shove to Randle. The former All-Star took offense and went right at him. Even after the referee intervened, Randle shoved him out of the way to confront Johnson.
His violent display led the officials to eject him out of the game. While Randle went out, Johnson took control in the next quarter and hit the buzzer-beater.

In an emphatic fourth quarter, Johnson scored 21 of his 38 points in the win. He hit 9 triples, including the game-winner on his career night. Coming in without Booker and Paul, Johnson’s contributions came up big for the Suns. Mikel Bridges also notched up 20 points in the last shot thriller.

The Knicks’ Julius Randle posted 25 points before getting ejected from the game. RJ Barrett continues his impressive season with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. The Knicks had an all-around effort as every starter went past the double-digit mark. However, it all came to nothing in front of young Cameron Johnson’s heroics.
