The Los Angeles Lakers have been in some trouble recently. With five losses in a row, it has been a cause of big concern. Now, in hopes to get back, they face the Houston Rockets. This serves as a great chance for the Lake show to get back to winning ways. However, Jalen Green has other plans as he shows Russell Westbrook his bounce.
The Lakers are in a tough spot. With many of their players out, they have had to endure in their last couple of games. LeBron James has done it all to try to keep them over the water. However, with the other team members failing to produce, the purple and gold have struggled.
Now taking on the Rockets, a young rookie Jalen Green took the challenge against Russell Westbrook and came out on top.

Green shows his bounce off to the Lakers
Taking on a fast break, the Lakers defense tried to settle in. While Kevin Porter Jr. was bringing the ball up, he saw Green trailing at the rim. In a flash, he threw the ball only where the rookie could catch it. However, when Westbrook tried to catch it, Green came out on top. He threw down an emphatic dunk and gave Russ a stare after.

The rookie is coming off an injury and is making his impact once again. Before his injury, Green was one of the top rookies and a favorite to win Rookie of the Year. Hence, he is looking to get back just like the Lakers. With the game, the Lakers are right on top at half time for this one.

Going on the road hasn’t affected LeBron one bit as he tops the scorers with 18 points so far. Westbrook isn’t far behind with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists while shooting an impressive from the 87% field. Malik Monk and Melo have combined for 29 points to give the two stars a boost. For the Rockets, Kevin Porter Jr. is leading them with 12 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists to his name. Center Christian Wood is also gearing himself up for a game with 12 points and 4 rebounds so far.
