Four years are enough to change one’s life. Both the Olympic gold medalists and Giannis Antetokounmpo would agree with this claim. The Milwaukee Bucks drafted the Greek Freak in 2013, but it wasn’t until 2017 that their investment finally started showing ultimate results. And today, the same man almost appears like an overnight success or a destined prodigy.

The last few months have been crazy for Giannis. Post the dream run at the NBA playoffs, the man showed up at wrestling rings and also went on a family vacation. But one thing remained the same, his crazily bulging fan following that ran after his car, chased his trophies, and whatnot. So this one time, something rather funny happened.

When Giannis Antetokounmpo forgot his achievements

Until the beginning of 2017, the Greek Freak did not have even one accomplishment to boast. He wasn’t even a top 10 pick and he had averaged just 12.2 points in his first three seasons. However, that fourth season and the very first All-Star selection changed everything.

Today, the man has 2 MVP awards, 5 ASG selections, 1 DPOY win, 1 FMVP trophy, and a championship ring. All of this happened in a matter of four years and The Alphabet became a future first-ballot NBA Hall of Famer.

But recently, when the 26-YO was signing a Nike Zoom Freak sneaker for one of his fans, he forgot the years he accomplished those achievements. The funny Freak needed help to pen down and sign his winnings on the custom shoes. Take a look –

This must inspire his fans to push and achieve so much in life that it gets tough to count the wins.

This wasn’t a regular Milwaukee Bucks fan. Who was he?

Well, Giannis Antetokounmpo was making so much effort to sign a shoe for a man named Ilias Panou. Mr. Ilias is Chief Operating Officer of a performance-driven sports marketing firm UPGR8. Based out of Greece, his company manages the marketing for Giannis and his brothers Kostas, Thanasis, and Alex Antetokounmpo.

Moreover, this wasn’t really the first time Giannis signed shoes for him. Even in November, the Bucks leader had given Ilias a pair of Nikes as a Christmas present. In fact, the NBA great likes to hang out with this business executive and they have enough pictures to prove it.
