With the Sacramento Kings struggling to find form, the Utah Jazz visited them and produced a fantastic display. Significantly, Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell had an incredible game to close out a convincing victory for the Jazz. As of right now, the Kings rank 12th in the NBA Western Conference table while hoping to find form. As their form is sketchy, the situation at Golden 1 Center became tight when a fan barfed on the basketball court owing to a lengthy delay. The match had a lengthy delay due to this problem.

A fan pukes on the court
Out of all the stoppages that happen, this is a first. Usually, fans spill drinks on the floor which causes a delay for the staff members to clean up. With Sacramento’s performance in a weak spot, this fan could not take it anymore and let himself loose. The incident caused a long delay as players seemed to enjoy that moment. It happened during the fourth quarter when the clock struck 9:36.

The fan was deemed to be drunk as he puked on the court. The poor officials took some time to clean up the mess as it happened close to the Jazz bench. They moved players out of the area as the officials mopped up the place. It is simply sad to say that the fan would not be allowed to enter the arena while the situation won’t be pretty when he wakes up the next morning.
But, the game goes on.
So the Kings vs Jazz had a really long delay because someone threw up on the court. I guess it was a biohazard. #NBA it’s fantastic! pic.twitter.com/TNeUSywwNd

Although there are many mishaps that happen on the court, this is a first. Courtside seats are the most expensive seats on the floor but come with a hefty price. Spillages or verbal abuses may lead to ejection as fans are expected to maintain decency and adhere to the rules.
This happened during Los Angeles Lakers’ game against Phoenix Suns. The game saw Rajon Rondo and a fan going out against each other. After many verbal jibes, Rondo pointed out to the fan who then shook his hand away. This led to an immediate ejection for the fan. Although fan and player jibes are common, a person puking on the floor is completely different. That fan would be dreading right now.
