The Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets went through an intense battle. Two of the biggest European stars, Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic, went toe to toe in their matchup. While it was a close game, it seemed the intensity got to a few players. A scuffle broke out in the fourth quarter as the two teams went bucket for bucket.
The reigning MVP, Nikola Jokic, and the Nuggets don’t have the reputation of an aggressive team. But it seems like they have a different intention this season. Jokic himself was involved in a big fight against the Miami Heat and received a suspension. Another culprit to these fights is JaMychal Green, who seems to attract fights.
During a sequence in the fourth quarter, Green shoved one of the Mavericks’ players and that led to a scuffle.

Nuggets have yet another fight
With the Mavericks holding a two-point lead, Campazzo drove to the rim but missed the shot. However, there was a battle for the rebound. While the Mavs claimed the all, Green pushed a player down on the floor. This is when Finney Smith stepped in to separate him, but Green went right at him. The scuffle was later broken up, but the two kept talking to each other.

This is the second time Green has been caught up in a scuffle. Only a few weeks back, he was involved in a scuffle with Hassan Whiteside of the Utah Jazz. While it did remain close for a while, the Mavericks took the game late in the fourth quarter as they couldn’t miss a shot.
Jokic led the races once again, tallying a game-high 35 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists. Monte Morris failed to deliver from downtown but had an efficient night with 17 points shooting 8-13. Aaron Gordon and Rivers combined for 26 points while the bench failed to deliver.
For the Mavericks, Porzingis continues his good run as he put up 29 points and 11 rebounds to guide them to a win. Luka Doncic scored 23 points while dishing out 11 assists. However, it was Brunson who caught fire off the bench, scoring 17 points to go with 6 assists as the Mavericks won 111-101.
