The Boston Celtics ran over the Los Angeles Lakers as they won at home. Despite the return of LeBron James, the Lakers suffered their second loss on the road trip and downgrade to 8-9 for the season. Dennis Schroder put on a show against his former team and let them know towards the end of the game. Although he received a technical foul, the fans loved it.

Jayson Tatum came up big once again and had his second 30+ point game in the row. He was on fire all night and led everyone in scoring. All the Celtic starters except Grant Williams scored over 15 points in the blowout win.

However, Schroder had a fairytale game against his former side and even took time to talk to the bench.

Dennis Schroder makes the Lakers pay

The Boston Celtics marched to a 130-108 win because of an all-round performance. However, for Schroder, it was all the sweeter given the slander he had received in the off-season. As the teams came out of a timeout, Schroder took his opportunity to talk trash to the Laker bench. His actions resulted in him getting a technical foul, but he had made his point.

The Lakers started the game well with an 8 point lead to end the first quarter. The return of LeBron James clearly giving a boost. However, things went downhill as they lost every other quarter from thereon. Poor defense remained an issue as the Celtics piled on the points.

Anthony Davis was the star performer with 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Russell Westbrook had his struggles once again with all three stars sharing the floor as he ended with just 12 points on 5-13 shooting.

Dennis Schroder went off for 21 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds. Tatum was in his rhythm once again, topping all scorers with 37 points and 11 rebounds. Marcus Smart and Al Horford combined for 40 points and the Celtics improved to 8-8 for the season.
