The season for the Los Angeles Lakers is officially over. With their seventh consecutive loss against the Phoenix Suns, the Lakers are out of play-in contention. And this caused the players a lot of frustration, as Carmelo Anthony pushed a player to the ground.

The Lakers took on the Suns, and their season was on the line. They were without LeBron James for the second game in a row and they needed a tremendous performance against the team with the best record in the NBA. They started the game off well as they held the lead for most of the first half.

But the Suns fought back to take lead by the break. And then they showed why they were the best team in the league. The Suns went on a run as they built a massive 26 point lead. The Lakers could never recover from this as they saw their hopes get dashed by the Suns. And this caused tensions to boil over as Carmelo shoved Torrey Craig to the ground.
