Shaquille O’Neal once witnessed an accident by the side of a road and immediately decided to do the right thing. The Big Diesel stepped on the road and helped out the passengers involved in the incident. Subsequently, the video of a 7’1″ Shaquille O’Neal walking by the side of the road went viral on the Internet.

The viral video of Shaq walking on the side of the road near a parked car in black shorts and a black T-shirt without any security confused many users on social media. However, they soon realized that the Lakers legend had stepped out of his car to help out a woman in need.

Shaquille O’Neal stepped out of his vehicle to check up on the passengers of a car, including a distressed woman, following a roadside accident. In fact, the four-time NBA champion didn’t care about his safety and stepped onto the road without any security personnel present.

Meanwhile, the authorities arrived at the scene and took control of the situation. They made sure to thank Shaq for helping out till they arrived. “Appreciate you stopping to help, bro,” one officer said to the NBA legend after a fist bump.

As it turns out, Shaq witnessed the incident from his car and immediately stepped up to help. The tall figure of the 15-time All-Star walking by the side of the road looked almost surreal as cars whooshed by past him.

Over the years, Shaq has garnered the reputation of a generous philanthropist. In other words, he has always helped out fellow members of the community in whatever way possible.

Whether it be buying laptops for ordinary people or paying for a fan’s engagement ring, the 2000 MVP is ready to make everyone’s day better. “I just always try to continue to do the right thing and just lead by example. I’m all about brightening up people’s day,” Shaq once remarked.

“So I take pride in each and every day by just making one person smile,” he added.
