According to the NBA Analyst, Scoop B Robinson, LeBron James is not pleased with Michael Malone’s words.

According to Scoop B’s sources, the Denver coach is a reason for James to play in the upcoming season. LeBron was frustrated while people discussed his retirement rumors. The comments coming in from people, especially Malone, are what’s causing the act of revenge.

However, sources within the Lakers informed Scoop B that LeBron will bounce back and enter the season with great motivation.

As a result, Mike Malone is now LeBron’s direct focus. Although LeBron would like to play with Kyrie Irving, any potential collaboration must be sensible for it to occur.

Scoop Robinson said, “In conversations with people, I can tell you that LeBron is very pissed with what Michael Malone said about him, from the folks that I have spoken with ‘that he is one of the many motivators’ going into this season.

Robinson further adds, “Folks that I’ve spoken with within the Lakers organization and those who know, they shared with me that LeBron will be backing the fall and a very motivated LeBron going into the season. So, Mike Malone is on his dart board. It has to make sense that he’d like to play with Kyrie Irving. If it were to happen.”

The James-Malone rivalry

LeBron James worked with Michael Malone when the latter was the Cleveland Cavaliers’ assistant coach. During his coaching period, they didn’t seem to have any problems with each other.

But back in 2018, when James just joined the LA Lakers, Malone took shots at the Lakers fans, indirectly targeting King James.

He said, “As long as their fans go home disappointed, that’s all I care about, so, the Warriors fans come in here, Celtics fans come in here, and the Laker fans come in here, but take the L on the way out.”

And after James hinted at retirement, Malone took another shot at him, joking about retiring himself.

So, it is all fun as long as these things are not taken out of proportion. But James seems to have made his priorities straight for the upcoming season.
