‘The Last Dance’ docuseries is probably one of the greatest sports documentaries out there, centered around the exploits of the iconic Chicago Bulls dynasty in the 90s. It went into detail about the legend of Michael Jordan and how the Bulls grew into a franchise that won six championships. However, the darker side came out when Jordan’s right-hand man Scottie Pippen and his other peers expressed their displeasure with the series. They called out His Airness for not doing justice to the team but rather keeping the focus on himself. As it turns out, they weren’t the only ones who were allegedly misled by the blockbuster production.
During his recent appearance on the ‘All The Smoke’ podcast, Detroit Pistons legend Isiah Thomas spoke about his experience on the ‘Last Dance’. As he sat down for an entire two-hour interview, the final product was something he couldn’t fathom in his wildest imagination. In other words, Thomas felt he was being blindsided.

The former leader of the Bad Boy Pistons spoke to hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson about his experience on Jordan’s revered docuseries. The NBA Hall of Famer got a call from the five-time MVP and his producer. During their conversation, Jordan would request Zeke to sit-down for the show, saying, “Can’t tell my story without you”. Jordan’s words made the former Bad Boy feel that their once public feud was now a thing of the past.
To show his respect, Thomas had dressed up in a three-piece suit and did a two-hour-long interview. Not only that, but he claims to have said good things about the Bulls legend during the sit-down. However, what he got from his former rival in return was quite the opposite.
Recently, the 12-time All-Star has actively spoken about MJ on Twitter. Reacting to his clip from the interview, Zeke had this to say: “When Jordan and his producers asked me to participate we wasn?t expecting to be blindsided with hate and negativity @KCJ_Swish was in the room? @NBATV.”

The ‘blindside’ the former Finals MVP is referring to would be the final cut of The Last Dance. Michael Jordan sat in his sweatsuit and called Zeke “an a*****e”. Not only that, but His Airness also claimed to hate the former Bad Boy. The sharp digs are remembered by the millions who watched the documentary. It came as a shock to Isiah Thomas who assumed that their feud was finally settled.
That is the single reason why the two-time champion has been behind Jordan over the past few days. Because MJ took the public stage to insult him, the 61-year-old Hall of Famer wants an apology of the same magnitude. It’s still unknown how Michael Jordan will react. Will he apologize or not? That’s something we can’t predict. But one thing is for sure, Zeke will not stop pushing his case until he gets his answers.
