Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green recently got into a bit of a turmoil. In an interview with former teammate Kevin Durant, the veteran spoke against his franchise’s management. Although things could’ve easily spiraled, all’s good in the hood according to the Warriors’ President Bob Myers. He has downplayed the emergence of any rift, and has instead praised the duo for their contributions to GSW.

It all started when on a podcast, Green and Durant were engaging in a lively chat. During their chat, Green and Durant recalled a heated on-court incident. At that time, they felt like the Warriors management mishandled and misinterpreted the whole situation. This resulted in Green getting suspended for a game, which he didn’t like. In the interview, they agreed that was a wrong decision on the part of Myers and his men. But this opened up the floodgates. Contrary to the assumptions, Bob Myers stated that there were no hard feelings. “I can’t get upset about [it], I won’t,” laid out the Warriors’ President of basketball operations. This was a follow-up to Golden State’s Media Day, where he stated that he hadn’t seen the interview. He continued, “Maybe you guys would and that’s your prerogative. But him and Kevin, all the good they’ve done for our franchise way outweighs that.”
