The Golden State Warriors were 6-9 this season and were looking to turn their season record around as they went up against the New York Knicks. The team has had one of the worst starts to the season as the defending champions of the league. But despite the team’s struggle, Stephen Curry has been putting on a show for the fans all season long as he tries to will his team to the finish line. This continued against the Knicks as well. Also, there were some familiar faces in the crowd during the game against New York.?

Warriors legend Baron Davis was in attendance as the Golden State Warriors went up against the New York Knicks. And that may have been a motivational factor for Curry to put on a show.

At one instance, Curry managed to split two defenders with a behind-the-back move as he took the lead pass from Poole and finger-rolled it in. The crowd went wild watching this. Even Curry was not able to fathom what he just did as he ran back with his hands on his head.

Stephen Curry put on a show against the Knicks

Baron Davis wasn?t the only basketball entity in the arena. WNBA stars A?ja Wilson and Chelsea Gray of the Las Vegas Aces were also in attendance as they saw Stephen Curry get away with some nasty moves on the floor. The Chef was clearly displaying his ability to generate offense without the ball in his hands, something that star players tend to forget.?

The Warriors managed to improve their record as they took down the Knicks 101-111. It was a good game not just for Curry but for the rest of the squad as well. Four out of five starters scored in double digits along with two from the bench as well.

Curry had a double-double as he scored 24 points with 10 rebounds and 6 assists as he impressed Warriors legend Baron Davis, A?ja Wilson, and Chelsea Gray and the fans. Davis played four years for the Warriors from 2004 to 08 and he was one of the best players on the team at the time. It was an exciting time for the franchise before the Curry era began.

WNBA stars A?ja Wilson and Chelsea Gray helped the Aces win the WNBA title last season. While A?ja Wilson won the regular season MVP award, Chelsea Gray won the Finals MVP award. They will be looking to defend their title successfully.

On the other hand, the reigning NBA champions are having a difficult start to the season. Things have not been going the team?s way so far this season. Superstar?Klay Thompson has yet to return to his original self but has been improving. He scored 20 points against the Knicks with a 3P% of 40. Fans would be hoping this is a sign of things to come.
