Destroying every single one of their critics, the Golden State Warriors have been in impeccable form this year. Before the season commenced, doubts were raised as to whether the side would be struggling again, with Curry being the lone ranger. On the contrary, it has been one of the most balanced set of games from the Warriors in the recent past. Asked about how his side has defied all odds once again, Steve Kerr made a hilarious Game of Thrones comparison in a recent interview.

Steve Kerr has been an invaluable asset to the Golden State Warriors. Rejecting the New York Knicks’ proposal, he joined the men in yellow and blue back in 2014. Ever since the beginning of his five-year deal, he has led the franchise to some historic triumphs. Many-a-time, he was counted out and declared as unfit to march towards victory. Yet, his three NBA titles, as well as Finals appearances will speak for themselves. Continuing his fine run as the head coach in 2021, Kerr has been tracking the ones who counted his team out.

During a recent press event, Kerr made a hilarious analogy of himself to Arya Stark of popular show Game of Thrones. And here’s why. “I’m like Arya from Game of Thrones,” revealed the former NBA champion. “I have all the names of the media members who picked us to be outside the playoffs, and I’m just checking off the box. Every time I see one of those guys, I give them a little glare and they know what that means.” The young girl from GoT was known for observing all the wrongs in silence, before getting her redemption eventually.
