The new NBA 2021-22 season started on Tuesday, 18th October. And Fans were excited to see defending champions Golden State Warriors led by Stephen Curry compete in their first matchup of the season. The Warriors faced the Los Angeles Lakers at Chase Center, but before that, a grand ring ceremony was held for the champions of the 2021-22 season.

Juan Toscano-Anderson, was present in the Warriors championship side in the 2021-22 season. The Lakers acquired the 29-year old before this season. As it turns out, the former Warriors player had to pay a lot of money for the tickets for his family, surprising a lot of fans.

NBA fans call out the Warriors

Juan Toscano-Anderson, while talking to Dave McMenamin, described how he felt about the ring ceremony, saying he had bought tickets for his whole family. The former Warriors player bought floor seats for his mother. Toscano-Anderson wanted his mother to be a part of his biggest achievement. The journalist enquired how much it cost to get his whole family on the floor seats and Toscano-Anderson replied that it was ?Five Figures?.

The Twitter fandom was not at all happy with the fact that the Warriors? former player had to pay such a huge amount of money to be present with his family at the fruition of his own hard work. They criticized the Golden State Warriors heavily.?

Safe to say, the NBA fandom on Twitter came on very hard at the organization, questioning why the organization would not hook their former player with tickets during a celebration for the achievement. However, the Warriors management haven’t responded to the incident yet.

Stephen Curry and the Warriors? first win of the season.

Even with all the criticism, the Warriors? seemed unfazed on the court. They swept off the Los Angeles Lakers in the first game of the season. LeBron James scored 31 pts in the game which unfortunately went in vain as the warriors won 109-123. Stephen Curry scored 33 Pts for the winning side.?
