Andre Iguodala is a professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). An NBA All-Star in 2012, he has won a number of championships throughout his career.

Recently, Iguodala discussed some techniques about guarding LeBron James and shared this knowledge with Draymond Green.

Andre Iguodala: “You can’t stop LeBron James!”

Draymond Green hosts a podcast titled “The Draymond Green Show”. Iguodala has been invited to the same, as a guest.

The moment of interest arrived when Iguodala gave some tips to the former DPOY on how to guard LeBron James. They discussed their strategies against James and the best way to guard him. In Iguodala’s opinion, James is simply unstoppable.

“Guarding LeBron James is not about stopping him, cause you can’t!”

As he mentioned, it is all about coming to the stop before he gets to shoot. Everything begins with the step shot and positioning himself before James, as well as being aware of where the ball is going to land.

In their previous encounters, Iguodala had guarded James, and this has been always a classic moment to watch. We remember the famous rivalry between Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors, which stretched for around four consecutive NBA Finals between 2015 and 2018. In the 2016 NBA championship final, one of the most iconic moments was LeBron James’ block on Andre Iguodala. 

No doubt, NBA fans will never forget that moment.
